This past weekend I performed a simple; but, elegant wedding for Tatiana and Wesley at the Toll House in Los Gatos. The Toll House is a first rate hotel that has a beautiful courtyard for the ceremony. Their service is exceptional and their food great. I don’t know what their price range is; but, I imagine that it is on the high end.
I really enjoyed crafting Tatiana and Wesley’s ceremony. I spoke with them for about one hour during the planning process so that I could understand what kind of ceremony they wanted. They had three major requests:
- The wanted a spiritual; but, not religious ceremony.
- They wanted to connect with their Jewish/Russian heritage.
- The wanted to recognize family members who had passed away or were unable to be there for other reasons.
Armed with this information I was able to craft and preside over the wedding ceremony of their dreams. The ceremony came off without a hitch and I am certain that Tatiana and Wesley have many happy years in front of them.
